Senate Finance Releases Cap on Flexible Spending Plans:
The Senate Finance has decided to propose capping FSAs to help pay for health insurance reform. The cap is $2,000.00 per year. While this “dodges” the original bullet of no FSAs it still represents a “tax” of sorts on people who fund FSAs above $2,000.00. If you are interested in showing your opinion either way on the cap on FSAs please go to www.senate.gov or www.house.gov and call or write your Representative.
